Brockton man pleaded guilty to selling drugs through the darknet. Along with him were other alleged co-conspirators. They were all on the spotlight for selling drugs on the dark web.

25-year-old Binh Thanh Le pleaded guilty in federal court in Boston. The reason being, he was in connection with conspiring to manufacture controlled substances. Also, Le pleaded guilty to conspiring to distribute and possess with intent to distribute drugs. In this case, the drugs in question were:
3,4- Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (MDMA), also called ecstasy
Alprazolam (Xanax)
Ketamine
Following that, the US Senior District Court judge scheduled sentencing for January 2022. Le got indicted in June 2019. Along with him were his co-conspirators Allante Pires and Steven McCall.

Le’s Business on the Dark Web

Now, according to court records, Le received large amounts of drugs in the mail. After that, Le and his alleged co-conspirators then processed and manufactured the drugs. In addition, all that happened at an office space Le rented in Stoughton. So together with that, Le created and operated a vendor site called EastSideHigh.
Its purpose was to distribute the controlled substances. Further, the site was on Dark Net Websites where various drugs were on sale. Some of the drugs advertised there were:
Cocaine
Ketamine
MDMA
Xanax
During the investigation, an agent ordered from a darknet black market. Later, he spotted Le depositing the order into a US Postal Service collection box. As a result, many envelopes containing drugs got intercepted. Likewise, the drugs were in connection with Le’s distribution scheme.

How Man Selling Drugs on the Dark Web got Caught

In March 2019, Le met with undercover investigators at a hotel in Norwood. The whole point of the meeting however was Le exchanging $2000 of Bitcoin for cash. So then, he got arrested after transferring the Bitcoin to the agents.
Additionally, authorities seized the following:
18 kilograms of MDMA
About seven kilograms of Ketamine
More than $100,000 in cash
An open computer with the “EastSideHigh vendor page on screen
Many packages with MDMA and Ketamine
A pill press
Various shipping and packaging materials
Pires and McCall pleaded not guilty. Therefore, they are innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court. On the contrary, Le’s sentencing got set for January 19, 2022.
